Wind Controller selected for monitoring of Ykspihlaja wind park
Wind Controller has been selected as a service partner for Ykspihlaja wind park in Kokkola. The agreement covers 24/7 monitoring, operation manager services and maintenance of the wind park substation. The wind park consists of 4 wind turbines with total capacity of 14,4 MW.
The Ykspihlaja wind park is owned by Ykspihlaja Wind Oy and operated by swedish company OX2, who develops, builds, finances and manages renewable energy plants in the Nordic countries. OX2 has around 100 personnel in Sweden and Finland and has planned almost 1200MW of wind power.
This agreement shows our competitiveness in terms of monitoring and maintenance services, comments Wind Controller’s Managing Director Kari Koivikko. We have developed our 24/7 control room in Oulu for a couple of years now. Thanks to the rapid development we are able to serve our customers actively, flexibly and cost efficiently, especially among wind power and power distribution.
